The Flagellant also operates best when knocking at Death’s Door, which is basically a dice roll whenever you reach critical HP. His attacks and skill tend to harm himself in the process while dealing damage to enemies or even healing the rest of his party. Like his skin-full counterpart, the hero is at his best when he’s at his worst. The Flagellant still thrives on taking as much punishment as possible.
